Group Tours: William Morris at Home

What to expect

Our expert guides lead an hour-long talk covering the life and work of William Morris, the history of Kelmscott House, and the legacy of Morris & Co. You’ll explore all the historic rooms, take in our exhibition Practically Magic, and get a rare glimpse of objects not usually on display — original wallpaper, watercolour designs, and other pieces from our collection.

If your group has particular interests, let us know in advance and we’ll tailor the talk accordingly.

Combine your visit

Consider pairing your tour with a visit to Emery Walker’s House at 7 Hammersmith Terrace — a ten-minute walk away, open March to November. Groups larger than eight can split across both venues and swap after an hour. For costs and availability, contact the Emery Walker Trust directly at info@emerywalker.org.uk.

Booking

We ask for at least one month’s notice and payment in full in advance. To book, email events@williammorrissociety.org with a selection of possible dates.
