Families
Family Adventures at the William Morris Society
We welcome all families great and small to the William Morris Society!
Step into the world of William Morris and explore his home together as a family. Our events and trails are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder in visitors of all ages.
Family Trail
We are delighted to have received funding from the Kids in Museums grant to create a fantastic Strawberry Thief Trail for our younger visitors.
Pick up our beautifully illustrated Strawberry Thief trail at the front desk and uncover hidden details around Kelmscott House. Children can follow clues, spot patterns, and learn surprising stories about Morris’s life and work.
Then why not take a break in our kid’s chill-out zone with drawing, colouring and sensory activities. Once you complete your trail, collect a little strawberry prize from the front desk!

Creative Events
Throughout the year we host special events and hands-on activities for families.
From printing and pattern-making to textiles, weaving and seasonal celebrations, these sessions invite children to imagine, make, and play together.
