Venue Hire
Events and Workshops
We are happy to host your event or workshop at Kelmscott House. The Society’s rooms make a wonderful backdrop to teacher inset days, museum staff training, book launches, meetings, art classes and more.
We have two rooms available: the Coach House (left photo), whose seated capacity is 40, and the Lower Library (right photo), whose seated capacity is 20 (or use as a tea/coffee/lunch space). For standing events, we can accommodate a larger group using both rooms. We can offer catering and A/V equipment upon request (fees may apply).
Daytime Hire Rates
£45 per hour + 1 hour set up and clear up time added to all hires.
(for example: a hire of 4 hours would be charged at 4 x £45 = £180 plus £45 = £225)
Minimum hire: 2 hours
Maximum hire per day: 7 hours
Availability: 10am-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 10am-1pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Evening Hire Rates
£65 per hour + 1 hour set up and clear up time added to all hires
Minimum hire: 2 hours
Maximum hire: 4.5 hours
Availability: 6pm-10:30pm Monday-Saturday.
