Open Garden Squares Weekend

June 9, 2019 14.00-17.00 at The William Morris Society
We are delighted to take part in this annual celebration of the capital’s gardens.
When looking for a new house for his family in 1878, William Morris said of Kelmscott House, ‘The garden is most beautiful…The situation is certainly the prettiest in London.’ Both the Society’s small garden, containing a number of plants which feature in Morris’s textile and wallpaper designs, and the larger garden which is privately owned, will be open for the afternoon. The Society’s museum will also be open.
