Online Family Workshop: Spring Flower Baskets

April 14, 2021 14.00-14.45

Join The William Morris Society for our virtual family activity this Easter break and create your own basket full of flowers, all made from paper and card!

In these sessions we will explore how nature inspired William Morris to create his patterns and look at some of the beautiful floral wallpapers and fabric from our collection, before creating a basket with flowers to go inside inspired by his designs.

For this activity you will need: 1 sheet A4 paper in any colour for the basket, small amount of green card for stems and leaves, blue card for bluebells, any colour card for tulips, scissors, marker pens and a pencil

This activity is for parents and children to do together, with demonstrations from our team over Zoom, you will also receive written instructions before the activity to support you to complete it at home.

Attendance to this family activity is by donation. Thank you in advance for your support.
