Perpetuating the memory of one of the greatest figures of the Victorian age

Online Family Workshop: Fork Weaving Flowers

February 15, 2021 14.00-14.30

Join The William Morris Society for our virtual family activity for February half-term.

Did you know you can weave with a fork? Book in to one of our live 30-minute sessions with our learning team for some weaving fun for all the family. All you need for this activity is a fork, some yarn or string and some scissors for the basic flower!

If you have a large needle (bodkin), sewing thread, regular needle and a button or bead, we will also show you a more complicated flower.

Optional supplies for decoration: printable activity sheet, safety pin or kirby grip or paper, glue, and coloured pens or pencils.

This activity is for parents and children to do together, with support from our team over Zoom, and attendance is by donation. Thank you for your support.
