“I want a real revolution”: Banner making workshop for environmental change

We are delighted to take part in the inaugural Hammersmith & Fulham Climate Carnival in the week leading up to COP26 – the United Nations’ climate conference which is held in Glasgow this November.

In this free drop-in workshop inspired by William Morris’s environmentalist views and Arts and Crafts political banners, learn simple textile skills to “transform the world with beauty,” as we embroider and paint our very own group banner demanding a better future. Led by the William Morris Society Youth Forum this is an opportunity to meet creative young people and learn or share creative skills. Beginners welcome. 

When: Wednesday 27th October 2021
Time: 
Painting: 11am-12pm, (available for all ages)
Embroidery: 1pm-3pm, (ages 10+)
10-minute Introductory: 11am, 1pm and 2pm.
Where: 
Grove Neighbourhood Community Hall.

Free.
Drop-in (no booking required) for families, young people and adults.
