Perpetuating the memory of one of the greatest men of the Victorian age

July 6, 2020 10.00-16.00 at The William Morris Society

Come and learn some of the needlework skills used in creating the original Morris & Co. embroideries. You will have the chance to practise a range of easy free-style stitches and you will spend some time working on a small flower kit which can be turned into a brooch or a framed picture. You will also take home a kit with all materials and full instructions to work on at home.

The class is suitable for those with basic sewing skills and possibly some experience of cross-stitch or needlepoint.

All materials provided.

Sally Roberson trained at the Royal School of Needlework and is a teacher of many years’ experience.
