AGM postponed until July
Posted on April 23, 2020
Because of the continuing Covid19 emergency, the Trustees have decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting from May 16th to July, probably Saturday 4th at 1000hrs.
It is not yet clear whether this postponed AGM will be able to take place at Kelmscott House with suitable social distancing, or whether it will be held ‘virtually’ by electronic means (which is permitted by Charity Commission rules providing participants can be at least heard if not seen). The trustees are conscious of the need to balance equality with pragmatism and economy.
Confirmation of agenda and resolutions sought, in addition to the annual report and accounts, will as usual be published on the Society website three weeks before the AGM. Further information about participation will be distributed within the society’s magazine summer edition in June.
